This car seat incorporates the newest safety technology to protect your baby. Integrated Sensorsafe™ Technology is provided in the form of a smart chest clip in the harness which alerts when unsafe situations arise. The alerts are provided through a vehicle receiver and the caregiver’s smartphone to ensure safety for children through a user-friendly app. The SensorSafe app also provides guidance on installation, FAQs, a direct line to customer service and more.

SensorSafe Features
- Chimes through the installed vehicle receiver if the child is still secured in the seat when the car is switched off
- Alerts through the caregiver’s cell phone if the child is left behind in the vehicle secured in the car seat and then alerts the designated emergency contact if the situation is still not remedied
- Emergency contact receives GPS coordinates of the vehicle’s last known position
- Alerts through the vehicle receiver and caregiver’s smartphone when the child has unbuckled their chest clip while the vehicle is in motion
- Monitors the back seat temperature to alert through the vehicle receiver and the caregiver’s smartphone when the back seat appears to be too hot or too cold for the child’s comfort
- Provides warnings to the caregiver when the child may have been seated for too long and needs a break
- Receiver plugs directly into your car’s OBD port and syncs with the caregiver’s cell phone
- Only one install needed if the receiver is kept plugged into the vehicle’s OBD port

What is L.S.P?
- Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) is a feature of CYBEX car seats that absorbs impact forces of certain side-impact crashes and directs these forces into the energy-absorbing shell of the car seat and away from the child’s sensitive neck area. By extending the L.S.P. system on the side of your car seat facing the door, this feature takes the initial brunt of the force and helps keep your child safer in the event of a near side impact.

Worth the buy

First I honestly only wanted the steering wheel cover but couldn't find it for sale that way.
It comes in sealed bag. The pieces are flat and bunched when taken out. I had a dog brush that I use to keep my fluffy slippers from getting matted and used it to fluff the pieces out. yes they shedded while brushing but not too much. The texture of the smaller two pieces were soft the steering wheel was soft also but had some spots that felt slightly rough. The piece for the brake slid on easily. The piece for the gear shift fit but was pressing against the gear shift button on the left side which kept my car from cutting off so I had to "modify" the piece. Steering wheel piece does still shed slightly but not enough to bother me. Over all happy with purchase yellow was vibrant and stands out. Would recommend.

So fluffly, they're actually unsafe.

It's REALLY fluffy. It blocks the instrument panel, spedometer, etc. It also sheds like crazy. The emergency brake & shift knob covers were overwhelming, too. They do look cool, but it's unsafe.

absolutely obsessed with how these make my car look. super warm in the winter, although i think i’ll have to take it off during the summer because my vents are blocked by how large the steering wheel cover is. i saw a lot of reviews saying it shed a lot, but honestly it has barely shed for me. i’ve had it for a month now and it’s holding up great so far. i do wanna warn everyone though, you CANNOT see your dash if you’re in a smaller car. i use waze which tells me my speed, but other than that i have to move the fur out of the way to see literally anything on my dash.

Looks and feels AMAZING! Better than the ad.

Recap... After a few months... The wheel is still Flufftabulous... There's a lot of lint accumulation on the dash and areas around the wheel but nothing like the shedding of my previous wheel. If this one ever wears completely out which i doubt... I'd definitely re-order.
It arrived the next day as promised. Vacuum sealed packaging so I opened it and brushed them out. There was minimal shedding while brushing. I was relieved since this is my 2nd fuzzy wheel ... the first was more of a shag carpet type of fur which was fluffy and fabulous but left tons of lint and dust bunnies. After 2 days there's been minimal to no shedding. It was easy to put on my standard sized steering wheel and fits snug and secure NO SLIPPING! I only gave it 4 starts because the gear shift cover could be fluffier. We'll see how it all holds up in GA heat. I'm happy with it so far, if anything changes .. I'll be back. I almost forgot... I included a pic to show the view of my dashboard isn't compromised at the position I have my s.w. in which is the highest level. If you like your wheel down in your lap, your dash won't be visible. Hope this helps... Enjoy Flufftabulous Wheel!
